Exodus 32:31-33
Good News Translation
31 Moses then returned to the Lord and said, “These people have committed a terrible sin. They have made a god out of gold and worshiped it. 32 (A)Please forgive their sin; but if you won't, then remove my name from the book in which you have written the names of your people.”
33 The Lord answered, “It is those who have sinned against me whose names I will remove from my book.

New International Version
31 So Moses went back to the Lord and said, “Oh, what a great sin these people have committed!(A) They have made themselves gods of gold.(B) 32 But now, please forgive their sin(C)—but if not, then blot me(D) out of the book(E) you have written.”
33 The Lord replied to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against me I will blot out(F) of my book.
