34 Go now therefore, bring the people unto the place which I commanded thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee, but yet in the day of my visitation I will visit their sin upon them.
35 [a]So the Lord plagued the people, because they caused Aaron to make the calf which he made.

34 Now go, lead(A) the people to the place(B) I spoke of, and my angel(C) will go before you. However, when the time comes for me to punish,(D) I will punish them for their sin.”
35 And the Lord struck the people with a plague because of what they did with the calf(E) Aaron had made.
