They [a]are soon turned out of the way, which I commanded them: for they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have offered thereto, saying, (A)These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt.

Again the Lord said unto Moses, (B)I have seen this people, and behold, it is a stiff-necked people.

10 Now [b]therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, for I will consume them: but I will make of thee a mighty people
