²⁸ So he was there with the Lord ^(A)forty days and forty nights; he did not eat bread or drink water. And ^[a](B)he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, ^(C)the Ten ^[b]Commandments.

⁴ He wrote on the tablets, like the former writing, ^(A)the Ten ^[a]Commandments ^(B)which the Lord had spoken to you on the mountain from the midst of the fire ^(C)on the day of the assembly; and the Lord gave them to me.
