^21 (A)Everyone whose heart ^[a]stirred him and everyone whose spirit ^[b]moved him came and brought the Lord’s ^[c]contribution for the work of the tent of meeting and for all its service and for the holy garments.

³ Moreover, in my delight in the house of my God, the treasure I have of gold and silver, I give to the house of my God, over and above all that I have already provided for the holy ^[a]temple,

⁵ of gold for the things of gold and of silver for the things of silver, that is, for all the work ^[a]done by the craftsmen. Who then is willing ^[b]to consecrate himself this day to the Lord?”

⁹ Then the people rejoiced because they had offered so willingly, for they made their offering to the Lord ^(A)with a whole heart, and King David also rejoiced greatly.

⁶⁸ Some of the heads of fathers’ households, when they arrived at the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem, offered willingly for the house of God to ^[a]restore it on its foundation.

¹¹ But now finish ^[a]doing it also, so that just as there was the ^(A)readiness to desire it, so there may be also the completion of it by your ability. ¹² For if the readiness is present, it is acceptable ^(B)according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.

⁷ Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not ^(A)grudgingly or under compulsion, for ^(B)God loves a cheerful giver.
