²¹ And ^(A)everyone whose heart ^[a]stirred him and everyone whose spirit ^[b]moved him came and brought the Lord’s ^[c]contribution for the work of the tent of meeting and for all its service, and for the holy garments.

³ In addition, in my delight in the house of my God, the treasure I have of gold and silver, I give to the house of my God, over and above all that I have already provided for the holy ^[a]temple,

⁵ gold for the things of gold and silver for the things of silver, that is, for all the work ^[a]done by the craftsmen. Who then is willing ^[b]to consecrate himself this day to the Lord?”

⁹ Then the people rejoiced because they had offered so willingly, for they made their offering to the Lord ^(A)wholeheartedly, and King David also rejoiced greatly.

⁶⁸ Some of the heads of fathers’ households, when they arrived at the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem, offered willingly for the house of God to erect it on its site.
