⁷ He made two cherubim of gold; he made them of hammered work ^[a]at the two ends of the mercy seat; ⁸ one cherub ^[b]at the one end and one cherub ^[c]at the other end; he made the cherubim of one piece with the mercy seat ^[d]at the two ends. ⁹ The cherubim had their wings spread upward, covering the ^[e]mercy seat with their wings, with their faces toward each other; the faces of the cherubim were toward the mercy seat.

^10 (A)Then he made two ^[a]sculptured cherubim in the room of the holy of holies and overlaid them with gold. ¹¹ The wingspan of the cherubim was twenty cubits; the wing of one, of five cubits, touched the wall of the house, and its other wing, of five cubits, touched the wing of the other cherub. ¹² The wing of the other cherub, of five cubits, touched the wall of the house; and its other wing of five cubits was attached to the wing of the ^[b]first cherub.
