25 (A)The silver from the census of the community weighed 7,550 pounds, weighed according to the official standard. 26 (B)This amount equaled the total paid by all persons enrolled in the census, each one paying the required amount, weighed according to the official standard. There were 603,550 men twenty years old or older enrolled in the census. 27 Of the silver, 7,500 pounds were used to make the hundred bases for the sacred Tent and for the curtain, 75 pounds for each base.

25 The silver obtained from those of the community who were counted in the census(A) was 100 talents[a] and 1,775 shekels,[b] according to the sanctuary shekel— 26 one beka per person,(B) that is, half a shekel,[c] according to the sanctuary shekel,(C) from everyone who had crossed over to those counted, twenty years old or more,(D) a total of 603,550 men.(E) 27 The 100 talents of silver were used to cast the bases(F) for the sanctuary and for the curtain—100 bases from the 100 talents, one talent for each base.
