⁶ Then the Lord said, “Put your hand inside your cloak.” So Moses put his hand into his cloak, and when he took it out, the skin was leprous^[a]—it had become as white as snow.^(A)

²⁷ Naaman’s leprosy^(A) will cling to you and to your descendants forever.” Then Gehazi^(B) went from Elisha’s presence and his skin was leprous—it had become as white as snow.^(C)

⁵ The Lord afflicted^(A) the king with leprosy^[a] until the day he died, and he lived in a separate house.^[b](B) Jotham^(C) the king’s son had charge of the palace^(D) and governed the people of the land.

¹⁹ Uzziah, who had a censer in his hand ready to burn incense, became angry. While he was raging at the priests in their presence before the incense altar in the Lord’s temple, leprosy^[a](A) broke out on his forehead.

²⁰ When Azariah the chief priest and all the other priests looked at him, they saw that he had leprosy on his forehead, so they hurried him out. Indeed, he himself was eager to leave, because the Lord had afflicted him.
