but also I myself heard the groaning of the Israelites,[a] whom the Egyptians are making to work, and I remembered my covenant. Therefore say to the Israelites,[b] ‘I am Yahweh, and I will bring you out from under the forced labor[c] of Egypt, and I will deliver you from their slavery, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great punishments.
