¹³And Pharaoh’s heart grew hard, and he did not heed them, as the Lord had said.

¹⁴So the Lord said to Moses: ^(A)“Pharaoh’s heart is hard; he refuses to let the people go.

¹³Yet Pharaoh’s heart^(A) became hard and he would not listen^(B) to them, just as the Lord had said.

¹⁴Then the Lord said to Moses, “Pharaoh’s heart is unyielding;^(C) he refuses to let the people go.

¹³And he hardened Pharaoh's heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the Lord had said.

¹⁴And the Lord said unto Moses, Pharaoh's heart is hardened, he refuseth to let the people go.
