2 If you refuse to let them go and ·continue to hold [tighten your grip on] them, 3 the ·Lord will punish you and will send [L hand of the Lord will strike with] a terrible ·disease [pestilence] on your farm animals that are in the fields. He will cause your horses, donkeys, camels, cattle, goats, and sheep to become sick. 4 But the Lord will ·treat Israel’s animals differently from [make a distinction between the animals of Israel and] the animals of Egypt. None of the animals that belong to the Israelites will die.

2 If you refuse to let them go and continue to hold them back, 3 the hand(A) of the Lord will bring a terrible plague(B) on your livestock in the field—on your horses, donkeys and camels and on your cattle, sheep and goats. 4 But the Lord will make a distinction between the livestock of Israel and that of Egypt,(C) so that no animal belonging to the Israelites will die.’”
