Exodus 9:29-31
New Catholic Bible
29 Moses answered him, “When I leave the city, I will stretch out my hands toward the Lord. The thunder will cease, and the hail will end, so that you may know that the earth belongs to the Lord. 30 But as for you and your ministers, I know that you still do not fear the Lord God.”
31 The linen and barley was ruined, because the barley was in the ear and the flax was flowering.

New International Version
29 Moses replied, “When I have gone out of the city, I will spread out my hands(A) in prayer to the Lord. The thunder will stop and there will be no more hail, so you may know that the earth(B) is the Lord’s. 30 But I know that you and your officials still do not fear(C) the Lord God.”
31 (The flax and barley(D) were destroyed, since the barley had headed and the flax was in bloom.
