² Speak now in the hearing of the people, that ^(A)they ask, every man of his neighbor and every woman of her neighbor, for silver and gold jewelry.” ^3 (B)And the Lord gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover, the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants and in the sight of the people.

³⁵ The people of Israel had also done as Moses told them, for they had ^(A)asked the Egyptians for silver and gold jewelry and for clothing. ^36 (B)And the Lord had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that ^(C)they let them have what they asked. Thus they plundered the Egyptians.

¹⁴ But ^(A)I will bring judgment on the nation that they serve, and afterward ^(B)they shall come out with great possessions.
