¹² For ^(A)I will go through the land of Egypt on that night, and fatally strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the human firstborn to animals; and ^(B)against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments—^(C)I am the Lord.

¹² And ^[a]I shall set fire to the temples of the ^(A)gods of Egypt, and he will burn them and take them captive. So he will ^[b](B)wrap himself with the land of Egypt as a shepherd ^[c]wraps himself with his garment, and he will depart from there safely.

^8 (A)provoking Me to anger with the works of your hands, ^(B)burning ^[a]sacrifices to other gods in the land of Egypt where you are entering to reside, so that you may be eliminated and become a ^(C)curse and a disgrace among all the nations of the earth?
