²⁶ And He said, “^(A)If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in His sight, and listen ^(B)to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, ^(C)I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, ^(D)the Lord, am your healer.”

²² But if you truly obey his voice and do all that I say, then ^(A)I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries. ^23 (B)For My angel will go before you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; and I will completely destroy them. ^24 (C)You shall not worship their gods, nor serve them, nor do according to their deeds; ^(D)but you shall utterly overthrow them and break their ^(E)memorial stones in pieces. ^25 (F)And you shall serve the Lord your God, ^[a]and He will bless your bread and your water; and ^(G)I will remove sickness from your midst. ²⁶ There will be no one miscarrying or ^(H)unable to have children in your land; ^(I)I will fulfill the number of your days. ²⁷ I will ^(J)send My terror ahead of you, and ^(K)throw into confusion all the people among whom you come, and I will ^(L)make all your enemies turn their backs to you.

^3 (A)If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments so as to carry them out, ⁴ then ^(B)I shall give you rains in their season, so that the land will yield its produce and the trees of the field will bear their fruit. ^5 (C)Indeed, your threshing season will last for you until grape gathering, and grape gathering will last until sowing time. So you will eat your ^[a]food to the full and ^(D)live securely in your land. ^6 (E)I shall also grant peace in the land, so that ^(F)you may lie down, with no one to make you afraid. ^(G)I shall also eliminate harmful animals from the land, and ^(H)no sword will pass through your land. ⁷ Instead, you will chase your enemies, and they will fall before you by the sword; ^8 (I)five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand; and your enemies will fall before you by the sword. ⁹ So I will turn toward you and ^(J)make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will ^(K)confirm My covenant with you. ¹⁰ And ^(L)you will eat the old supply, and clear out the old because of the new. ^11 (M)Moreover, I will make My ^[b]dwelling among you, and My soul will not ^[c]reject you. ^12 (N)I will also walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people. ^13 (O)I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt so that you would not be their slaves, and ^(P)I broke your yoke and made you walk erect.

Promises of God

¹² “^(A)Then it shall come about, because you listen to these judgments and keep and do them, that the Lord your God will keep ^[a]His covenant with you and ^[b]His faithfulness which He swore to your forefathers. ¹³ And He will ^(B)love you, bless you, and ^(C)make you numerous; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground, your grain, your new wine, and your oil, the newborn of your cattle and the offspring of your flock, ^[c]in the land which He swore to your forefathers to give you. ¹⁴ You shall be blessed above all peoples; there will be no sterile male or ^(D)infertile female among you or among your cattle. ¹⁵ And ^(E)the Lord will remove from you all sickness; and He will not inflict upon you any of the harmful diseases of Egypt which you have known, but He will give them to all who hate you. ¹⁶ You shall consume all the peoples whom the Lord your God will turn over to you; ^(F)your eye shall not pity them, nor shall you serve their gods, for that would be ^(G)a snare to you.

¹⁷ “If you say in your heart, ‘These nations are greater than I; how can I ^(H)dispossess them?’ ¹⁸ you are not to be afraid of them; you shall ^(I)remember well what the Lord your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt: ^19 (J)the great trials which your eyes saw and the signs and the wonders, and the mighty hand and the outstretched arm by which the Lord your God brought you out. The Lord your God will do the same to all the peoples of whom you are afraid. ²⁰ Indeed, the Lord your God will send ^(K)the hornet against them, until those who are left and hide themselves from you perish. ²¹ You are not to be terrified of them, because ^(L)the Lord your God is in your midst, ^(M)a great and awesome God. ^22 (N)And the Lord your God will drive away these nations from you little by little; you will not be able to put an end to them quickly, otherwise the ^[d]wild animals would become too numerous for you. ^23 (O)But the Lord your God will turn them over to you, and will ^[e]throw them into great confusion until they are destroyed. ^24 (P)And He will hand over their kings to you, so that you will eliminate their name from under heaven; ^(Q)no one will be able to stand against you until you have destroyed them. ²⁵ The carved images of their gods you are to ^(R)burn with fire; you shall ^(S)not covet the silver or the gold that is on them, nor take it for yourselves, or you will be ^(T)trapped by it; for it is an ^(U)abomination to the Lord your God. ²⁶ And you shall not bring an abomination into your house and become ^(V)designated for destruction, like it; you are to utterly detest it, and you are to utterly loathe it, for it is something designated for destruction.

¹³ “And it shall come about, ^(A)if you listen obediently to my commandments which I am commanding you today, ^(B)to love the Lord your God and to serve Him ^(C)with all your heart and all your soul,
