²¹ Furthermore, you shall ^[a]select out of all the people ^(A)able men ^(B)who fear God, men of truth, those who ^(C)hate dishonest gain; and you shall place these over them as leaders of thousands, ^[b]of hundreds, ^[c]of fifties, and ^[d]of tens.

² Then ^(A)the leaders of Israel, the heads of their fathers’ households, ^(B)made an offering (they were the leaders of the tribes; they were the ^[a]supervisors over the ^[b]numbered men).

² and they stood before Moses, ^[a]together with some of the sons of Israel, 250 leaders of the congregation ^[b](A)chosen in the assembly, men of renown.
