⁸ The people all responded together, “We will do everything the Lord has said.”^(A) So Moses brought their answer back to the Lord.

³ And now the Lord has brought it about; he has done just as he said he would. All this happened because you people sinned^(A) against the Lord and did not obey^(B) him.

⁶ Whether it is favorable or unfavorable, we will obey the Lord our God, to whom we are sending you, so that it will go well^(A) with us, for we will obey^(B) the Lord our God.”

²¹ I have told you today, but you still have not obeyed the Lord your God in all he sent me to tell you.^(A)
