¹⁸ “You shall not allow a ^(A)sorceress to live.

¹⁰ There shall not be found among you anyone ^(A)who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, a ^(B)soothsayer, one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer,

¹⁹ When they say to you, “^(A)Consult the mediums and the spiritists who whisper and mutter,” should a people not ^(B)consult their God? Should they ^(C)consult the dead in behalf of the living?

⁵ “Then I will come near to you for judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the ^(A)sorcerers, the ^(B)adulterers, against those who ^(C)swear falsely, those who ^[a]oppress the ^(D)wage earner in his wages or the ^(E)widow or the ^[b]orphan, and those who turn away the ^(F)stranger from justice and do not ^[c]fear Me,” says the Lord of armies.

^6 (A)See that no one deceives you with empty words, for because of these things ^(B)the wrath of God comes upon ^(C)the ^[a]sons of disobedience.
