³ Then Moses came and reported to the people all the words of the Lord and all the ^[a]ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice and said, “^(A)All the words which the Lord has spoken we will do!”

⁷ Then he took ^(A)the Book of the Covenant and read it ^[a]as the people listened; and they said, “^(B)All that the Lord has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient!” ⁸ So ^(C)Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people, and said, “Behold ^(D)the blood of the covenant, which the Lord has ^[b]made with you ^[c]in accordance with all these words.”

² The Lord our God made ^(A)a covenant with us at Horeb. ^3 (B)The Lord did not make this covenant with our fathers, but with us, all ^[a]of us who are alive here today.

^27 [a]Go near and listen to everything that the Lord our God says; then speak to us everything that the Lord our God speaks to you, and we will listen and do it.’

³² not like the ^(A)covenant which I made with their fathers on the day I ^(B)took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My ^(C)covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,” declares the Lord.
