⁷ and onyx stones and other gems to be mounted on the ephod^(A) and breastpiece.^(B)

¹² and fasten them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod as memorial stones for the sons of Israel. Aaron is to bear the names on his shoulders^(A) as a memorial^(B) before the Lord.

¹² the third row was jacinth, agate and amethyst;

¹⁴ Then the five men who had spied out the land of Laish^(A) said to their fellow Danites, “Do you know that one of these houses has an ephod,^(B) some household gods and an image overlaid with silver?^(C) Now you know what to do.”
