⁴³ And they shall be on Aaron and on his sons when they enter the tent of meeting, or ^(A)when they approach the altar to minister in the Holy Place, so that they do not incur ^[a]guilt and die. ^(B)It shall be a statute forever to him and to his ^[b]descendants after him.

⁹ And you shall wrap their waists with ^(A)sashes, Aaron and his sons, and fit ^[a]caps on them, and they shall have ^(B)the priesthood by a permanent statute. So you shall ^[b](C)ordain Aaron and his sons.

¹⁷ It is a ^(A)permanent statute throughout your generations in all your dwelling places: you shall not eat any fat ^(B)or any blood.’”

³⁴ Now you shall have this as a ^(A)permanent statute, to ^(B)make atonement for the sons of Israel for all their sins once every year.” And just as the Lord had commanded Moses, so he did.

²³ Only the Levites shall perform the service of the tent of meeting, and they shall ^(A)bear their own guilt; it shall be a permanent statute throughout your generations, and among the sons of Israel ^(B)they shall have no inheritance.

²¹ So it shall be a permanent statute for them. And the one ^(A)who sprinkles the water for impurity shall wash his clothes, and the one who touches the water for impurity will be unclean until evening.

²⁵ So it has been from that day forward, that he made it a statute and an ordinance for Israel to this day.
