²¹ Then you shall take part of the blood that is on the altar, and of the ^(A)anointing oil, and sprinkle it on Aaron and his garments, and on his sons and his sons' garments with him. He and his garments shall be holy, and his sons and his sons' garments with him.

⁴¹ And you shall put them on Aaron your brother, and on his sons with him, and shall ^(A)anoint them and ordain them and ^(B)consecrate them, that they may serve me as priests.

²⁵ And you shall make of these a sacred anointing oil blended as by the ^(A)perfumer; it shall be a ^(B)holy anointing oil.

¹² And ^(A)he poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's head and anointed him to consecrate him.

³⁰ Then ^(A)Moses took some of the anointing oil and of the blood that was on the altar and sprinkled it on Aaron and his garments, and also on his sons and his sons' garments. So he consecrated Aaron and his garments, and his sons and his sons' garments with him.

^7 (A)And do not go outside the entrance of the tent of meeting, lest you die, ^(B)for the anointing oil of the Lord is upon you.” And they did according to the word of Moses.

^10 (A)“The priest who is chief among his brothers, on whose head the anointing oil is poured and who has been consecrated to wear the garments, ^(B)shall not let the hair of his head hang loose nor tear his clothes.

²⁵ And the congregation shall rescue the manslayer from the hand of the avenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to his city of refuge to which he had fled, and he shall live in it ^(A)until the death of the high priest ^(B)who was anointed with the holy oil.
