³¹ “Take the ram^(A) for the ordination and cook the meat in a sacred place.^(B)

¹⁶ Aaron and his sons^(A) shall eat the rest^(B) of it, but it is to be eaten without yeast^(C) in the sanctuary area;^(D) they are to eat it in the courtyard^(E) of the tent of meeting.^(F)

²⁶ The priest who offers it shall eat it; it is to be eaten in the sanctuary area,^(A) in the courtyard^(B) of the tent of meeting.^{(C) 27} Whatever touches any of the flesh will become holy,^(D) and if any of the blood is spattered on a garment, you must wash it in the sanctuary area.

⁶ Any male in a priest’s family may eat it,^(A) but it must be eaten in the sanctuary area; it is most holy.^(B)

¹³ Eat it in the sanctuary area,^(A) because it is your share and your sons’ share of the food offerings presented to the Lord; for so I have been commanded.^(B)

⁹ It belongs to Aaron and his sons,^(A) who are to eat it in the sanctuary area,^(B) because it is a most holy^(C) part of their perpetual share of the food offerings presented to the Lord.”

¹⁰ Then too, I saw the wicked buried^(A)—those who used to come and go from the holy place and receive praise^[a] in the city where they did this. This too is meaningless.

¹³ Then he said to me, “The north^(A) and south rooms^(B) facing the temple courtyard^(C) are the priests’ rooms, where the priests who approach the Lord will eat the most holy offerings. There they will put the most holy offerings—the grain offerings,^(D) the sin offerings^[a](E) and the guilt offerings^(F)—for the place is holy.^(G)
