^36 (A)Each day you shall offer a bull as a sin offering for atonement, and you shall ^[a]purify the altar when you make atonement ^[b]for it, and ^(B)you shall anoint it to consecrate it. ³⁷ For seven days you shall make atonement ^[c]for the altar and consecrate it; then ^(C)the altar shall be most holy, and whatever touches the altar shall be holy.

¹⁰ However, Aaron shall ^(A)make atonement on its horns once a year; he shall make atonement on it with the blood of the sin offering of atonement once a year throughout your generations. It is most holy to the Lord.”

¹⁷ Therefore, in all things He ^[a]had ^(A)to be made like His brothers so that He might ^(B)become a merciful and faithful ^(C)high priest in ^(D)things pertaining to God, to ^(E)make ^[b]propitiation for the sins of the people.
