⁴² It shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the doorway of the tent of meeting before the Lord, ^(A)where I will meet with you, to speak to you there. ⁴³ I will meet there with the sons of Israel, and it shall be consecrated by My glory.

⁶ You shall put ^[a]this altar in front of the veil that is ^[b]near the ark of the testimony, in front of the ^[c](A)atoning cover that is over the ark of the testimony, where I will meet with you.

³⁶ And you shall crush some of it very fine, and put part of it in front of the testimony in the tent of meeting ^(A)where I will meet with you; it shall be most holy to you.

² The Lord said to Moses:

“Tell your brother Aaron that he shall not enter ^(A)at ^[a]any time into the Holy Place inside the veil, before the ^[b]atoning cover which is on the ark, or he will die; for ^(B)I will appear in the cloud over the ^[c]atoning cover.

⁴ You shall then leave them in the tent of meeting in front of ^(A)the testimony, where I meet with you.
