¹³ You shall ^(A)tear down their altars and ^(B)break their pillars and cut down their ^(C)Asherim

²⁵ That night the Lord said to him, “Take your father's bull, and the second bull seven years old, and pull down the altar of Baal that your father has, and cut down ^(A)the Asherah that is beside it

¹⁵ the Lord will strike Israel as a reed is shaken in the water, and ^(A)root up Israel out of ^(B)this good land that he gave to their fathers and scatter them ^(C)beyond the Euphrates, because they have made their ^(D)Asherim, provoking the Lord to anger.

³³ And Ahab made an ^(A)Asherah. Ahab did more to provoke the Lord, the God of Israel, to anger ^(B)than all the kings of Israel who were before him.

⁶ Nevertheless, they did not depart from the sins of the house of Jeroboam, ^(A)which he made Israel to sin, but walked^[a] in them; and ^(B)the Asherah also remained in Samaria.)

¹⁶ And they abandoned all the commandments of the Lord their God, and made for themselves metal images of ^(A)two calves; and they ^(B)made an Asherah and ^(C)worshipped all the host of heaven and served ^(D)Baal.

³ For he rebuilt the high places ^(A)that his father Hezekiah had broken down, and he erected altars to the Baals, and made ^(B)Asherahs, and worshipped all the host of heaven and served them.
