²⁸ God has delivered^(A) me from going down to the pit,^(B)
    and I shall live to enjoy the light of life.’^(C)

²³ My lips will shout for joy^(A)
    when I sing praise to you—
    I whom you have delivered.^(B)

¹⁰ He saved them^(A) from the hand of the foe;^(B)
    from the hand of the enemy he redeemed them.^(C)

²⁷ Zion will be delivered with justice,
    her penitent^(A) ones with righteousness.^(B)

¹⁴ Do not be afraid,^(A) you worm^(B) Jacob,
    little Israel, do not fear,
for I myself will help^(C) you,” declares the Lord,
    your Redeemer,^(D) the Holy One^(E) of Israel.

²² I have swept away^(A) your offenses like a cloud,
    your sins like the morning mist.
Return^(B) to me,
    for I have redeemed^(C) you.”

²³ Sing for joy,^(D) you heavens, for the Lord has done this;
    shout aloud, you earth^(E) beneath.
Burst into song, you mountains,^(F)
    you forests and all your trees,^(G)
for the Lord has redeemed^(H) Jacob,
    he displays his glory^(I) in Israel.

I am the Lord,
    the Maker of all things,
    who stretches out the heavens,^(M)
    who spreads out the earth^(N) by myself,

¹⁰ Was it not you who dried up the sea,^(A)
    the waters of the great deep,^(B)
who made a road in the depths of the sea^(C)
    so that the redeemed^(D) might cross over?
