⁷ I will take you as my own people, and I will be your God.^(A) Then you will know^(B) that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians.

⁵ Now if you obey me fully^(A) and keep my covenant,^(B) then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession.^(C) Although the whole earth^(D) is mine,

²⁰ But as for you, the Lord took you and brought you out of the iron-smelting furnace,^(A) out of Egypt,^(B) to be the people of his inheritance,^(C) as you now are.

⁶ For you are a people holy^(A) to the Lord your God.^(B) The Lord your God has chosen^(C) you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.^(D)

²⁶ I prayed to the Lord and said, “Sovereign Lord, do not destroy your people,^(A) your own inheritance^(B) that you redeemed^(C) by your great power and brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand.^(D)

²⁹ But they are your people,^(A) your inheritance^(B) that you brought out by your great power and your outstretched arm.^(C)”

² for you are a people holy^(A) to the Lord your God.^(B) Out of all the peoples on the face of the earth, the Lord has chosen you to be his treasured possession.^(C)

¹⁸ And the Lord has declared this day that you are his people, his treasured possession^(A) as he promised, and that you are to keep all his commands.
