⁷ I will take you as my people,^(A) and I will be your God. You will know^(B) that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from the forced labor of the Egyptians.

¹² I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people.^(A)

²³ However, I did give them this command: ‘Obey me, and then I will be your God, and you will be my people. Follow every way I command you so that it may go well with you.’^(A)

⁴ which I commanded your ancestors when I brought them out of the land of Egypt,^(A) out of the iron furnace.”^(B) I declared, “Obey me, and do everything that I command you, and you will be my people, and I will be your God,”^(C)

⁷ I will give them a heart to know me,^(A) that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God because they will return to me with all their heart.^(B)

God’s Relationship with His People

31 “At that time”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“I will be the God of all the families of Israel,^(A) and they will be my people.”

³³ “Instead, this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days”—the Lord’s declaration. “I will put my teaching within them and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

³⁸ They will be my people, and I will be their God.^(A)

²⁰ so that they will follow my statutes,^(A) keep my ordinances, and practice them. They will be my people, and I will be their God.^(B)
