13 Now it came about, as I prophesied, that (A)Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I fell on my face and cried out with a loud voice, and said, “(B)Oh, Lord God! Will You bring the remnant of Israel to a complete destruction?”

New International Version
13 Now as I was prophesying, Pelatiah(A) son of Benaiah died. Then I fell facedown and cried out in a loud voice, “Alas, Sovereign Lord! Will you completely destroy the remnant of Israel?(B)”
Amos 7:2-6

2 And it came about, [a]when it had (A)finished eating the vegetation of the land, that I said,
“(B)Lord God, please pardon!
How can Jacob stand?
For he is (C)small.”
3 The Lord (D)relented of this.
“It shall not be,” said the Lord.
4 So the Lord God showed me, and behold, the Lord God was calling to contend with them by (E)fire, and it consumed the great deep and began to consume the [b]farmland. 5 Then I said,
“(F)Lord God, please stop!
(G)How can Jacob stand?
For he is small.”
6 The Lord (H)relented of this.
“This too shall not be,” said the Lord God.
Amos 7:2-6

2 When they had stripped the land clean,(A) I cried out, “Sovereign Lord, forgive! How can Jacob survive?(B) He is so small!(C)”
3 So the Lord relented.(D)
“This will not happen,” the Lord said.(E)
4 This is what the Sovereign Lord showed me: The Sovereign Lord was calling for judgment by fire;(F) it dried up the great deep and devoured(G) the land. 5 Then I cried out, “Sovereign Lord, I beg you, stop! How can Jacob survive? He is so small!(H)”
6 So the Lord relented.(I)
“This will not happen either,” the Sovereign Lord said.(J)
