Ezekiel 11:5-7
New English Translation
5 Then the Spirit of the Lord came[a] upon me and said to me, “Say: ‘This is what the Lord says: This is what you are thinking,[b] O house of Israel; I know what goes through your minds.[c] 6 You have killed many people in this city; you have filled its streets with corpses.’ 7 Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: ‘The corpses you have dumped[d] in the midst of the city[e] are the meat, and this city[f] is the cooking pot, but I will take you out of it.[g]

5 Then the Spirit of the Lord came on me, and he told me to say: “This is what the Lord says: That is what you are saying, you leaders in Israel, but I know what is going through your mind.(A) 6 You have killed many people in this city and filled its streets with the dead.(B)
7 “Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: The bodies you have thrown there are the meat and this city is the pot,(C) but I will drive you out of it.(D)
