12 And when the wall falls, the people will cry out, ‘Why didn’t you tell us that it wasn’t good enough? Why did you whitewash it and cover up its faults?’ 13 Yes, it will surely fall.” The Lord God says: “I will sweep it away with a storm of indignation, with a great flood of anger, and with hailstones of wrath. 14 I will break down your whitewashed wall; it will fall on you and crush you, and you shall know I am the Lord.

12 When the wall collapses, will people not ask you, “Where is the whitewash you covered it with?”
13 “‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: In my wrath I will unleash a violent wind, and in my anger hailstones(A) and torrents of rain(B) will fall with destructive fury.(C) 14 I will tear down the wall(D) you have covered with whitewash and will level it to the ground so that its foundation(E) will be laid bare. When it[a] falls,(F) you will be destroyed in it; and you will know that I am the Lord.
