Ezekiel 19:11-13
Young's Literal Translation
11 And it hath strong rods for sceptres of rulers, And high is its stature above thick branches, And it appeareth in its height In the multitude of its thin shoots.
12 And it is plucked up in fury, To the earth it hath been cast, And the east wind hath dried up its fruit, Broken and withered hath been the rod of its strength, Fire hath consumed it.
13 And now -- it is planted in a wilderness, In a land dry and thirsty.

Ezekiel 19:11-13
New International Version
11 Its branches were strong,
fit for a ruler’s scepter.
It towered high
above the thick foliage,
conspicuous for its height
and for its many branches.(A)
12 But it was uprooted(B) in fury
and thrown to the ground.
The east wind(C) made it shrivel,
it was stripped of its fruit;
its strong branches withered
and fire consumed them.(D)
13 Now it is planted in the desert,(E)
in a dry and thirsty land.(F)
