Mission to Rebellious Israel

2 He said to me, “Son of man, stand up on your feet^(A) and I will speak with you.”

¹¹ He said to me, “Daniel, you are a man treasured by God.^[a](A) Understand the words that I’m saying to you. Stand on your feet,^(B) for I have now been sent to you.”^(C) After he said this to me, I stood trembling.

¹⁴ And he said, ‘The God of our ancestors has appointed^(A) you to know his will, to see^(B) the Righteous One,^(C) and to hear the words from his mouth, ¹⁵ since you will be a witness for him to all people of what you have seen and heard.^(D)
