Ezekiel 2:4-6

4 So I am sending you to those who are [a](A)impudent and obstinate children, and you shall say to them, ‘This is what the Lord [b]God says:’ 5 As for them, (B)whether they listen or [c]not—for they are a rebellious house—they will (C)know that a prophet has been among them. 6 And as for you, son of man, you are (D)not to fear them nor fear their words, though (E)thistles and thorns are with you and you sit on scorpions; you are not to fear their words nor be dismayed at their presence, since they are a rebellious house.

4 The people to whom I am sending you are obstinate and stubborn.(A) Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says.’(B) 5 And whether they listen or fail to listen(C)—for they are a rebellious people(D)—they will know that a prophet has been among them.(E) 6 And you, son of man, do not be afraid(F) of them or their words. Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns(G) are all around you and you live among scorpions. Do not be afraid of what they say or be terrified by them, though they are a rebellious people.(H)
