⁷ You shall speak my words to them, whether they hear or refuse to hear, for they are a rebellious house.^(A)

²⁴ But when the righteous turn away from their righteousness and commit iniquity and do the same abominable things that the wicked do, shall they live? None of the righteous deeds that they have done shall be remembered, for the treachery of which they are guilty and the sin they have committed, they shall die.^(A)

²³ And the nations shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity, because they dealt treacherously with me. So I hid my face from them and gave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they all fell by the sword.^(A)

²⁶ They shall bear their shame, and all the treachery they have practiced against me, when they live securely in their land with no one to make them afraid,^(A)

²⁴ For, as it is written, “The name of God is blasphemed^[a] among the gentiles because of you.”^(A)
