⁷ But you shall ^(A)speak My words to them ^(B)whether they listen or ^[a]not, for they are rebellious.

^11 [a]Go to the exiles, to the sons of your people, and speak to them and tell them, whether they listen or ^[b]not, ‘Thus says the Lord ^[c]God.’”

²⁷ But ^(A)when I speak to you, I will open your mouth and you will say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord ^[a]God.’ He who hears, let him hear; and he who refuses, let him refuse; ^(B)for they are a rebellious house.

¹² As you enter the ^[a]house, ^(A)give it your ^[b]greeting. ¹³ If the house is worthy, ^[c]give it your blessing of peace. But if it is not worthy, ^[d]take back your blessing of peace. ¹⁴ Whoever does not receive you, nor heed your words, as you go out of that house or that city, ^(B)shake the dust off your feet. ¹⁵ Truly I say to you, ^(C)it will be more tolerable for the land of ^(D)Sodom and Gomorrah in ^(E)the day of judgment than for that city.

⁴⁶ Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and said, “It was necessary that the word of God be spoken to you ^(A)first; since you repudiate it and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, ^(B)we are turning to the Gentiles.
