Ezekiel 20:19-21
Good News Translation
19 I am the Lord your God. Obey my laws and my commands. 20 Make the Sabbath a holy day, so that it will be a sign of the covenant we made, and will remind you that I am the Lord your God.
21 “But that generation also defied me. They broke my laws and did not keep my commands, which bring life to anyone who obeys them. They profaned the Sabbath. I was ready to let them feel the force of my anger there in the desert and to kill them all.

New International Version
19 I am the Lord your God;(A) follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.(B) 20 Keep my Sabbaths(C) holy, that they may be a sign(D) between us. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God.(E)”
21 “‘But the children rebelled against me: They did not follow my decrees, they were not careful to keep my laws,(F) of which I said, “The person who obeys them will live by them,” and they desecrated my Sabbaths. So I said I would pour out my wrath on them and spend my anger(G) against them in the wilderness.(H)
