Ezekiel 20:27-29

27 “Therefore speak to the house of Israel, son of man,[a] and you must say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord Yahweh: “Again in this your ancestors blasphemed me at[b] their display of infidelity toward me.”’[c] 28 And I brought them to the land that I swore[d] to give[e] to them, and they saw every high hill and every leafy tree, and they offered their sacrifices, and they presented there the provocation of their offering, and they gave there their fragrant incense offering, and they poured out their libations there. 29 And I said to them, ‘What is the high place[f] to which you are going?’ And it is called[g] Bamah until this day.

New International Version
27 “Therefore, son of man, speak to the people of Israel and say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: In this also your ancestors(A) blasphemed(B) me by being unfaithful to me:(C) 28 When I brought them into the land(D) I had sworn to give them and they saw any high hill or any leafy tree, there they offered their sacrifices, made offerings that aroused my anger, presented their fragrant incense and poured out their drink offerings.(E) 29 Then I said to them: What is this high place(F) you go to?’” (It is called Bamah[a] to this day.)
