6 Mourn therefore thou son of man, as in the pain of thy [a]reins, and mourn bitterly before them.
7 And if they say unto thee, Wherefore mournest thou? Then answer, Because [b]of the bruit: for it cometh, and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be weak, and all minds shall faint, and all knees shall fall away as water: behold, it cometh, and shall be done, saith the Lord God.
8 ¶ Again, the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

6 “Therefore groan, son of man! Groan before them with broken heart and bitter grief.(A) 7 And when they ask you, ‘Why are you groaning?(B)’ you shall say, ‘Because of the news that is coming. Every heart will melt with fear(C) and every hand go limp;(D) every spirit will become faint(E) and every leg will be wet with urine.’(F) It is coming! It will surely take place, declares the Sovereign Lord.”
