Ezekiel 21:6-8
New English Translation
6 “And you, son of man, groan with an aching heart[a] and bitterness; groan before their eyes. 7 When they ask you, ‘Why are you groaning?’ you will reply, ‘Because of the report that has come. Every heart will melt with fear and every hand will be limp; everyone[b] will faint, and every knee will be wet with urine.’[c] Pay attention—it is coming and it will happen, declares the Sovereign Lord.”
8 The Lord’s message came to me:

6 “Therefore groan, son of man! Groan before them with broken heart and bitter grief.(A) 7 And when they ask you, ‘Why are you groaning?(B)’ you shall say, ‘Because of the news that is coming. Every heart will melt with fear(C) and every hand go limp;(D) every spirit will become faint(E) and every leg will be wet with urine.’(F) It is coming! It will surely take place, declares the Sovereign Lord.”
