¹⁸ Son of man, the house of Israel has become slag to me. All of them are copper, tin, iron, and lead inside a furnace. They have become the slag from silver. ¹⁹ Therefore, this is what the Lord God says. Because you have all become slag, I am about to gather you inside Jerusalem. ²⁰ As silver, copper, iron, lead, and tin are placed inside a furnace to blast them with fire and to melt them, so I will gather you in my anger and my wrath. I will throw you into the furnace and melt you.
