This is what they did to Me and My house. This is how they profaned it. ⁴⁰ They even sent a special invitation to men who lived far away. When they arrived, you had bathed in fragrant waters, painted around your eyes, dressed in seductive garments, and adorned your body with shiny jewelry for your honored guests.
