13 I tried to clean you of your filthy lust, but you wouldn’t clean yourself from your filth. You will never be clean until I unleash my fury on you. 14 I, Yahweh, have spoken. It will happen, and I will do it. I will not ignore you, pity you, or change my plans. I will punish you because of the way you lived and because of everything you have done,’” declares Adonay Yahweh.

13 “‘Now your impurity is lewdness. Because I tried to cleanse you but you would not be cleansed(A) from your impurity, you will not be clean again until my wrath against you has subsided.(B)
14 “‘I the Lord have spoken.(C) The time has come for me to act.(D) I will not hold back; I will not have pity,(E) nor will I relent.(F) You will be judged according to your conduct and your actions,(G) declares the Sovereign Lord.(H)’”
