9 I will let the cities that defend the border of Moab be attacked, including even the finest cities—Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kiriathaim. 10 I will let the tribes of the eastern desert conquer Moab, together with Ammon, so that Moab[a] will no longer be a nation. 11 I will punish Moab, and they will know that I am the Lord.”

9 therefore I will expose the flank of Moab, beginning at its frontier towns—Beth Jeshimoth(A), Baal Meon(B) and Kiriathaim(C)—the glory of that land. 10 I will give Moab along with the Ammonites to the people of the East as a possession, so that the Ammonites will not be remembered(D) among the nations; 11 and I will inflict punishment on Moab. Then they will know that I am the Lord.’”(E)
