Ezekiel 29:2-4
Contemporary English Version
2 Ezekiel, son of man, condemn the king of Egypt. Tell him and his people 3 that I am saying:
King of Egypt, you were like a giant crocodile lying in a river. You acted as though you owned the Nile and made it for yourself. But now I, the Lord God, am your enemy! 4 I will put a hook in your jaw and pull you out of the water, and all the fish in your river will stick to your scaly body.[a]

New International Version
2 “Son of man, set your face against(A) Pharaoh king of Egypt(B) and prophesy against him and against all Egypt.(C) 3 Speak to him and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“‘I am against you, Pharaoh(D) king of Egypt,
you great monster(E) lying among your streams.
You say, “The Nile(F) belongs to me;
I made it for myself.”
4 But I will put hooks(G) in your jaws
and make the fish of your streams stick to your scales.
I will pull you out from among your streams,
with all the fish sticking to your scales.(H)
