Ezekiel 30:11-13

English Standard Version

¹¹He and his people with him, ^(A)the most ruthless of nations,
    shall be brought in to destroy the land,
^(B)and they shall draw their swords against Egypt
    and fill the land with the slain.
¹²And ^(C)I will ^(D)dry up the Nile
    and will sell the land into the hand of ^(E)evildoers;
^(F)I will bring desolation upon the land and everything in it,
    by the hand of ^(G)foreigners;
^(H)I am the Lord; I have spoken.

¹³“Thus says the Lord God:

^(I)“I will destroy the idols
and put an end to the images in ^(J)Memphis;
^(K)there shall no longer be a prince from the land of Egypt;
so ^(L)I will put fear in the land of Egypt.

    and sell the land to an evil nation;
by the hand of foreigners
    I will lay waste^(E) the land and everything in it.

¹³“‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says:

“‘I will destroy the idols^(F)
and put an end to the images in Memphis.^(G)
No longer will there be a prince in Egypt,^(H)
and I will spread fear throughout the land.

¹¹He and his people with him, the terrible of the nations, shall be brought to destroy the land: and they shall draw their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain.

¹²And I will make the rivers dry, and sell the land into the hand of the wicked: and I will make the land waste, and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers: I the Lord have spoken it.

¹³Thus saith the Lord God; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause their images to cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.
