²⁵ A bed is made for her among the slain, with all her hordes around her grave. All of them are uncircumcised,^(A) killed by the sword. Because their terror had spread in the land of the living, they bear their shame with those who go down to the pit; they are laid among the slain.

³⁰ “All the princes of the north^(A) and all the Sidonians^(B) are there; they went down with the slain in disgrace despite the terror caused by their power. They lie uncircumcised^(C) with those killed by the sword and bear their shame with those who go down to the pit.^(D)

⁵² Bear your disgrace, for you have furnished some justification for your sisters. Because your sins were more vile than theirs, they appear more righteous^(A) than you. So then, be ashamed and bear^(B) your disgrace, for you have made your sisters appear righteous.

⁵⁴ so that you may bear your disgrace^(A) and be ashamed of all you have done in giving them comfort.

⁷ Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I swear with uplifted hand^(A) that the nations around you will also suffer scorn.^(B)

¹³ They are not to come near to serve me as priests or come near any of my holy things or my most holy offerings; they must bear the shame^(A) of their detestable practices.^(B)

²⁹ I will provide for them a land renowned^(A) for its crops, and they will no longer be victims of famine^(B) in the land or bear the scorn^(C) of the nations.^(D)

⁶ Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel and say to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I speak in my jealous wrath because you have suffered the scorn of the nations.^(A)

²⁶ They will forget their shame and all the unfaithfulness they showed toward me when they lived in safety^(A) in their land with no one to make them afraid.^(B)
