Ezekiel 33:3-5

3 and to sound a warning signal when the enemy is seen coming. 4-5 If any of these people hear the signal and ignore it, they will be killed in battle. But it will be their own fault, because they could have escaped if they had paid attention.

Ezekiel 33:3-5
New International Version
3 and he sees the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet(A) to warn the people, 4 then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not heed the warning(B) and the sword comes and takes their life, their blood will be on their own head.(C) 5 Since they heard the sound of the trumpet but did not heed the warning, their blood will be on their own head.(D) If they had heeded the warning, they would have saved themselves.(E)
